THE INFLUENCE OF CRITICAL THINKING ON ADMINISTRATIVE ROLES
Abstract: This study aims to examine the influence of critical thinking on administrative roles, focusing on how analytical and evaluative skills impact administrative functions. A survey research design was employed, with a sample size of 350 participants from a media company in Lagos, derived using Taro Yamane’s formula. The survey’s reliability coefficient score was 0.89, indicating high reliability. Results indicate that critical thinking significantly enhances administrative roles, enabling staff to handle complex situations effectively and make informed decisions. The study recommends incorporating critical thinking exercises and training into regular administrative development programs to improve overall performance.
